Mr. J. Campbell McInnes was a student under Sir Charles Santley, and he has also had training under M. Bouhy, in Paris. His first appearance was at St. James’s Hall in 1899. Since then he has been a prominent singer at the London Symphony, and Halle Concerts, and at the chief English Festivals. He was principal baritone at the Leeds Musical Festival in 1910. His rich voice has delighted concert-audiences of the York Symphony Orchestra, and of the York Musical Society, on two previous occasions.
